4th of July!
We spent the 4th of July in Pocatello, Idaho with Dave's family! We had a fabulous time on our trip out West and this was part of it. Here we are at the parade. Meggin striking a pose while waiting for the parade to start. She and Nana became great friends! Nik is always making a face! Hanging with the cousins a couple of nights before. Abby and Ian are fun cousins! Meggin is definitely enjoying an ice cream bar at Grandma Connie's after the parade. Grandma Connie, Dave and Meggin First time for sparklers...they loved them, but they didn't last long.

Fishing with Papa!
In July, we visited my parents in Idaho. It's tradition for all the grandkids to go fishing with Papa (Grandpa Bob) at some point during there visit to Idaho. They go to the fish hatchery which supplies most of the trout to restaurants worldwide. The morning of the fishing day or the night before, they pick worms usually with Mor Mor (Grandma) for the bait and then comes the fishing! My boys had a great time as did I! I hadn't been fishing with my dad for quite some time. What a great day!! Nik was very focused, he caught the most fish.

Meggin Turns One!
Here's our little sweetie on her birthday, July 23, 2009! Mommy always tries to make a fun cake for the kids birthdays...this one is a butterfly and flower. Meggin was excited for it all. She couldn't wait to eat the candy and cake. She was also alot more interested in the presents than we thought she'd be...the paper not so much. The boys helped her blow out the candle and of course eat the cake and open the presents. They were just as excited and she was. She had a really great day. Happy Birthday Meggin Ann!mmmm...mmmm....cakeLoving the presents! My first Princess toy of many to come I'm sure. mowing the carpet...she was just starting to walk and this helped her feel so much more confident.

The last weekend in June our family got together for a campout up Big Cottonwood Canyon in Utah. Everyone was there except one brother and his family. We missed them, but had a great time. Two camp trailers, 3 tents and a bunch of kids! Everyone was exhausted after 3 days, but we had a fabulous time. Here's some of the group! Three of the sisters on a walk/hike! Me, Laura and Chaunda

Visit from Nana
In June Dave's mom came to visit. We had a great time, except that it rained most of the time she was here. I guess the rain was good for me because I was able to tap into Nana's expertise...organizing. She helpe me organize the garage, the "junk" room, the playroom and more. Thanks Nana!
